An Invitation to Future ADAPT Professionals

ADAPT is intentionally building a home for professionals who are deeply committed to a meaningful mission and energized by the shared pursuit of mastery in service of helping people fully participate in life.

If that resonates with you, we'd love to connect.

Why We Exist

Many people enter the fields of health, fitness, coaching, therapy, and performance because they genuinely want to help others.

So do we.

That, however, is only the starting point.

At ADAPT, we believe this work is about far more than exercise, fitness, or performance.

We believe training is preparation for meaningful participation in life.

People do not ultimately seek fitness, therapy, exercise, or performance. They seek what those things allow them to do: participate in the activities, relationships, adventures, work, and experiences that matter most to them.

For some, that means hiking with friends. For others, it means traveling confidently, playing with grandchildren, returning to a sport they love, or navigating life after a neurological or spinal cord injury with greater confidence, independence, and possibility.

The activity may differ. The mission remains the same.

We believe physical capability, at any level, is one of the greatest enablers of a meaningful life. We also believe every person is preparing for something meaningful and deserves a trusted guide to help them build the physical capability to pursue it.

That is the work.

We exist to help people build lifelong physical capability so that they can fully participate in the life they want to live.

What We're Building

In order to fulfill that mission exceptionally well over the long term, we are intentionally building a professional home for people who believe this work matters deeply and who are energized by pursuing mastery alongside others who feel the same way.

We believe helping another human being achieve meaningful outcomes is both a responsibility and a privilege. We also believe expertise and care belong together, and that neither is sufficient without the other.

At ADAPT, collaboration is not an accessory to our culture; it is central to who we are.

We get better together.

We are building an environment where people are encouraged to ask questions, seek feedback, challenge assumptions, and continually refine their craft. We believe meaningful work is best pursued alongside others who are equally committed to it.

We are less interested in finding people who are simply looking for a job and more interested in building relationships with people who are looking for a professional home.

Who Thrives Here

The professionals who thrive at ADAPT tend to commit themselves to four things.

Mission

They are deeply aligned with and committed to advancing the ADAPT mission. They believe physical capability is one of the greatest enablers of a meaningful life and derive genuine fulfillment from helping others build and protect that capability over time.

Craft

They view this work as a craft worthy of lifelong study and practice. They are energized by learning, welcome feedback, and understand that development is a continuous process rather than a destination.

Mastery

They embrace continual refinement and understand that exceptional work is earned through humility, repetition, feedback, and experience over time. They are less interested in status and more interested in substance.

Team

They believe mastery is best pursued together. They value collaboration over individual expertise and understand that individual growth and team growth are inseparable.

These professionals also tend to share several common behaviors. They enjoy solving problems, care deeply about outcomes beyond the interaction itself, and understand that much of our impact occurs during the other 165 hours of a person's week.

The session is the touchpoint. The real work is helping people build confidence, change behaviors, make better decisions, and stay committed to what matters most.

People Who Often Struggle Here

ADAPT is intentionally building something different, and we recognize that it won't be the right environment for everyone.

People who often struggle at ADAPT tend to:

  • Resist systems, structure, or process
  • Prefer "my way" over a shared system
  • Avoid accountability or difficult conversations
  • Chase status over mastery
  • View teammates as competition
  • Want autonomy without responsibility
  • Seek advancement faster than they are willing to pursue development

None of these make someone a bad person or a bad professional. They are simply better suited for a different environment.

How We Operate

Coaching-Centric

We don't rent space to trainers. We intentionally develop professionals.

Integrated Continuum

Clients move seamlessly between training, therapy, performance, and long-term wellness within a unified system.

Long-Term Relationships

We care about outcomes measured in years, not weeks.

Defined Standards

Development is intentional. Advancement is earned.

Leadership Investment

We invest in our teammates the same way we invest in our clients: with purpose, progression, feedback, and accountability.

Let's Start a Conversation

Exceptional people rarely appear exactly when an opening exists.

That's why we believe in building relationships long before a need arises.

Whether we're actively hiring today or not, we believe exceptional people are worth getting to know.

Sometimes those people are students. Sometimes they're interns. Sometimes they're coaches, clinicians, client experience professionals, sales professionals, or operations professionals. And sometimes they're clients whose lives have been deeply impacted by the work happening here and who feel compelled to contribute to that mission themselves.

If this resonates with you, we'd love to start a conversation.
